Here's How I Make My Little Loom Book

I love to teach, and I also love learning how to do things myself.

This little book came about from teaching workshops. I gathered the directions I had made for handouts and decided to weave samples and take photos for a book for beginners.

I could handle that. Weave and take photos - and it sounded fun, too.

But since I wanted to publish it myself, I had to learn how to design it in Adobe InDesign, and that was a big thing. But it was still kind of fun—not as fun as weaving, but still fulfilling.

Then I had to learn what the printer needed, and they were so patient, taking time to help me through lots of editing.

I bought a good bookbinding machine and some spirals, and I was ready to put the little books together.
