Weaving Doodles

Relax and weave simple shapes the easy way.

Are you a doodler?

I am. I listen better at meetings when I've got a pencil and paper to draw on.  I love all aspects of weaving, from simple to technical.

It's fun to have a technical challenge - but sometimes it's nice to chill out and weave with abandon.

That's what this course is all about, weaving to relax - as meditation. No worries about rules. Weaving spontaneously and seeing where that takes you.

Beginners are welcome!

Your Teacher- Lucy Jennings

I grew up sewing, and I loved the feel of cloth in my hands. That's what drew me to weaving: getting to work with yarn and understanding how it all goes into making textiles.

When I got to college, I was intrigued by the weaving courses, and that was that! I've been weaving ever since - over forty years.

I've been a teacher all of those years, too, and my favorite thing is to bring my weaving world to beginners like you.
