I grew up in a small town near the Colorado river, and it was our life. Many mornings and evenings were spent watching the river go by, or canoeing in the marshes. That's what inspired this amulet bag - what memories does it bring up for you?
2.25 inches x 1.75 inches wide. The necklace is cotton cord, and is adjustable by sliding the knots along the cord to the length best for you.

My amulet bags were woven on a floor loom using very fine silk - I wanted to create a lush fringe on the top of each bag. After weaving they were taken off the loom and hand-sewn, dyed, and painted.
The final step was adding a necklace cord.
Each of my amulet necklaces are made individually - so although some are similar, there are no two exactly alike.
